After their 1863 wedding, the celebrity midget couple managed by P. T. Barnum became one of the most popular subjects for carte-de-visite (calling card) photographs. This one was donated to the Smithsonian in 1995 as part of a large collection of materials associated with the photographer George K. Warren.
