Museum of History and Technology, about 1965. While some exhibits at the new Museum of History and Technology displayed objects in cases, many featured period settings: furnished rooms, shops, even factories. This machine shop was set up more as a showcase for the museum's fine collection of early machine tools than as a reproduction of a typical shop of the period.
