"Ecology Now" poster, 1970s
By calling attention to pollution, destruction of wildlife habitats, and declining natural resources, the environmental movement has challenged conventional American ideas about science, technology, and progress. Curators collected this poster and other environmental materials for the Science in American Life exhibition in 1994.
